Escalation

Legal recovery support when collection is not enough

Litigation should be a decision, not a reflex. We assess whether legal action is likely to be worth it, organise the evidence so that solicitors spend less of your money on preparation, and coordinate the process from claim to enforcement. Infexcel Recoveries is not a law firm; legal advice and court representation are provided by independent legal practitioners we work alongside.

Who this is for

  • Creditors with substantial, well-documented debts
  • Businesses that have already tried collection without result
  • Creditors who need a judgment enforced

How it works

  1. 01

    Merits and cost review

Amount, evidence, the debtor's capacity to pay and the likely cost of each stage.

  2. 02

    Claim preparation

Invoices, terms, demands and contact history organised into a brief for the legal practitioner.

  3. 03

    Claim and judgment

Coordination of filing in the appropriate court or tribunal for the amount and state.

  4. 04

    Enforcement

Options such as examination, garnishee orders, warrants or statutory demands, chosen to fit the debtor.

What you get

Honest go / no-go advice

We would rather tell you a debt is not worth suing on than run up costs.

Lower legal spend

Well-prepared matters move faster and cost less.

One account

Collection history and the legal matter are kept together on the same account.

Legal recovery services: common questions

Which court will my matter go to?

It depends on the amount and the state or territory. Smaller debts are typically heard in a Magistrates or Local Court small-claims division or a civil tribunal; larger claims go to higher courts. See our state pages for an overview.

Can the debtor be made to pay legal costs?

Courts often award some costs to a successful party, but recovery of costs is never guaranteed and depends on the forum and the outcome.
